Marshmallow Doughnuts Are Coming To Chicago

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love doughnuts, glazed, fruit filled, cake doughnuts, it really doesn't matter to me. As long as their round and they have a hole in the middle sign me up. Every now and then a new flavor emerges. Last year it was all about the maple bacon doughnut. People just couldn't get enough of them.

Another treat I've always enjoyed as a child was marshmallows. Perfect for Hot Chocolate, Smores or even eating them straight out of the bag. Stan's has come forth and taken two of my favorite food items and put them together. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present the Caramel Marshmallow pocket doughnut. All the doughnut you love completely filled with marshmallows and a tasty caramel coating.

My mouth is watering just writing about it. This is part of Stan's 5th anniversary. According to Chicagomag.com, Stan's anniversary is on February 26th, and the first 50 customers that day will receive a free one. I haven't been to Stan's yet but I've heard good things.
