McDonald’s to Scrap the Dollar Menu for This

Brace yourself bargain burger lovers, McDonalds is making more changes to their menu and this is probably the biggest change of all- they're eliminating the dollar menu in 2016.

When I first saw the news, I almost panicked. I thought to myself, "well that's just un-American." Cheat meals and late night after-bar drive-thru trips just aren't going to be the same; then I saw that they were offering something that might be even better- they're replacing the dollar menu with the "McPick 2" menu which will allow you to buy two items for $2, including the McDouble (which in many locations was increased to almost $2 itself or you only got one piece of cheese), the McChicken, small fries and the new mozzarella sticks.

So, it basically sounds like it's the $2 menu? Well, yes and no. Remember, items that used to cost more than a dollar will now be part of the "McPick2"; making them just a buck.

But never fear, the offerings only last until February 8th and adjustments to the menu may happen again...I just hope they keep the all day breakfast.
