Meet the First Mr. WHS with Special Needs, David Hauser

The newest King of Winnebago High School is making history for the greatest reason.

WIFR's Whitney Martin shared a sweet story on the news yesterday about one WHS student who became royalty recently by winning the Winnebago High School's Mr. WHS pageant.

David Hauser is not only a WHS student, but also has special needs student, which makes him the first Mr. WHS in the pageant's history with special needs to take the crown.

Whitney knows David as one of the cheerleaders she coaches through Gigi's Playhouse, and her happiness talking about him winning the title is almost as sweet as what David had to say about his grandpa, "I want my Grandpa to be happy and proud of me."
