No one wants to see you try.

If you're giving a speech at a wedding, please please please show up with some notes. Even if you only write them the night before.

In a perfect world if you're speaking at a wedding, you would prepare your speech weeks in advance and practice in front of people. Kudos to my brothers who I think have both written pretty good Best Man speeches and practiced, and BROUGHT NOTES. You must bring notes guys, you just must.

And by "guys" I mean, bridesmaids, groomsmen, moms, dads, crazy uncles, if you want to talk at a wedding, write out notes in advance. It will only make you funnier and more endearing. I promise.
