WATCH OUT: Somebody’s Python is On the Loose in Rockford

A python on the loose in Rockford is about the worst a headline can get if you're terrified of snakes, and I am. Please help return this nightmare fuel to his owner.

What is Your Greatest Fear

There is almost nothing in this world I fear more than snakes. And my fear doesn't really differentiate much between types of snakes either. I'm not as afraid of a garter snake as I would be of a cobra, but to me, all snakes just feel evil.

You can tell me all day long how they won't hurt me, it's just a feeling I have. I'm not sure how this fear took hold of my soul, but it has a grip on it, and I don't want any part of trying to overcome that fear.

A Rockford man has lost his ball python and I think it probably slithered its way back home to Hell, but that's just me and my fear talking.

Since you won't find me out looking for this man's snake, I thought I could at least share it with you so maybe you can help, or suggest what this python owner should do.

When the photo below that was shared in the Facebook group Illinois Lost & Found Pets rolled through my phone screen, I shuttered, because this python is big af. I'm sure it's not as big as pythons CAN get but (see aforementioned fear).

According to the snake's owner and what he shared in the Illinois Lost & Found Pets Facebook Group, the snake was lost in the Edgewater area of Rockford.
