Domestic Battery Charge Filed in Will County

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 5:25 a.m. to a residence on Kuse Road for a 911 hang-up call and a welfare check.

When deputies arrived, they encountered McMichael and a man inside the home. The man told authorities they had been drinking and arguing for several hours prior to the call.

Details From the Sheriff’s Office

The man alleged that the argument became physical and claimed McMichael choked him, according to the sheriff’s office. McMichael told deputies the dispute did not become physical.

A witness reported hearing the pair arguing for hours, followed by loud noises and banging. Authorities said the witness later found both individuals on the kitchen floor.

Deputies observed injuries and scratches on the man’s neck, according to officials. McMichael was taken into custody and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

All charges are allegations, and McMichael is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
