[LISTEN] Mysterious Sound Has Milwaukee Residents Searching For Answers

Something pretty weird was heard across Milwaukee's south side Monday night, and no one knows what it was.

For me, it sounds like some kind of alien spaceship, but folks who heard it in person have other ideas.

Mysterious Sound Heard Across Milwaukee

Residents at least a mile apart reported the sound. People who heard it firsthand said it sounded like a screech, while others remarked that they could hear "bad boy" on a loop.

Other reports mentioned that the sound came and went for about two hours.

Milwaukee Residents Describe a Strange Screeching Noise

For me, if I heard that sound while I was outside my house, I'd immediately go back in and put on my tinfoil hat. I don't actually have one, but if I did, I'd grab some aluminum foil and fashion it into something that would keep my brain safe from whatever I was hearing.

Even Neighborhood Cats Reacted to the Mysterious Noise

One resident said his cats were freaking out when they heard the sound, and it seemed to bounce off homes in the area, making it hard to pinpoint its origin.

Some theories suggest it was a tornado siren, and Milwaukee Police have no record of having received any reports of the sound.

For now, it's a mystery, but one thing is for sure: if it's aliens, I'm safe; I've got my trusty roll of aluminum foil ready.
