New Cell Phone Design Could Be Banned in Illinois

Already banned in Chicago, lawmakers are hoping to get these cell phone cases banned throughout the entire state of Illinois. 

A cell phone case that is shaped to look like a hand gun might be banned in Illinois if lawmakers have their way, and in doing so, Illinois would be the first state in the country to ban them.

Why ban them? According to AOL, they were banned in Chicago because of the extreme similarities they have to actual hand guns. Chicago police officers deal with real gun violence every day on the streets of Chicago, and are very happy that the controversial gun cell phone cases are not allowed within city limits.

Amazon used to sell the cases, but no longer do, however they are still available through eBay and other online retailers. Scary, isn't it?
