New Glamping Resort Opens in Illinois Most Popular State Park
Leave the sleeping bags, and camping gear at home you won't need them at this brand new glamping resort park in Starved Rock State Park in Illinois.
Camp Aramoni just opened at the end of May and this new glamping resort takes camping up a whole new level. The luxury, yes luxury, camping tents are decked out with 11-safari style tents to choose from, you can even book massages, reserve canoes or bicycles morning yoga classes, and more. Where do I sign up? The tents each come with king-sized beds and private bathrooms.
There is also an old RV turned into a mobile restaurant named The Burlington that serves up coffee in the morning and cocktails at night.
Starved Rock State Park is over 2,600 acres of land that attacks millions each year, and with these new glamping tents, I think that number is going to double. I have always said I am not the camping type, but if there was a way to campy in decked-out tents I am there, well my request must have been heard cause these tents are simply amazing in every way. I just checked some random dates and these luxury glamping tents are filling up fast, and it's no surprise this really takes camping up ten levels.
