New Rockford Pub Lands on Best Outdoor Dining List
Dining outside is the new big thing and a new pub landed on the most recent list of top outdoor dining locations in Rockford. Have you been there?
I don't pass up an opportunity to try a new restaurant or bar in Rockford. It's almost like it's my job or something... which is kind of is.
One of the newest places to grab drinks and an app in the Stateline is 8th Ward Pub.
In April my friends are I stopped by to celebrate a birthday and it was a super cute place with fun drinks and a slew of different food items. I'd skip the chips but order ten flatbreads if I were you.
Might I recommend the bruschetta flatbread, so good! They have a ton of starters and snackboards on their menu, but they also have sandwiches, soup, salad, flatbreads and more importantly dessert. How did I go there and NOT get the S'mores Flatbread? Who wants to meet me there to try that sometime soon? You can't have a pub without drinks, so of course they have those too, I'm super into flights, but haven't made it over there on a Sunday yet. Thanks to their Instagram account I'm well versed on their mimosa flight options.
8th Ward Pub is obviously doing something right because they landed themselves on the the list of the top ten outdoor dining locations in Rockford according to Yelp!
Disclaimer: the list changes anytime someone weighs in on Yelp!, so 8th ward might move in and out of the top ten depending on when you're reading this.
