There have been some menu changes at Rockford's Chick-fil-A location at 2800 North Perryville Road, but the latest change is not sitting well.

It's always a bit tough to go through menu changes at a restaurant you like. Most of my family would eat at Chick-fil-A every week. Since the pandemic began, they've gotten me to like it, as well. I was enjoying my first chicken sandwich a lot, until one of my children said, "now put some of that sauce on it." That changed the game for me. That's the best sandwich sauce I've had in a very long time. Once I dipped my waffle fry in that sauce, I knew my life could never be without.

That original Chick-fil-A sauce is the best. It's so loved that the company needs to make it part of some big changes. A change that will directly affect the number of sauce packets in my fridge that we save to go on other food.

We just learned that they're dropping the Original Chick-n-Strips, the Grilled Cool Wrap and the Side Salad. They just introduced the spicy strips, which they will be keeping on the menu, for now. Another big change is due to a shortage that Chick-fil-A is having difficulty managing.

Rockford's Chick-fil-A is enforcing limits on our sauce love.

Limits are now being placed on the number of free sauces Chick-fil-A customers can get with each order due to supply chain issues, according to Today.com.

It appears we will now be limited to 4 sauces per meal. If we want more, we're encouraged to buy an 8-ounce bottle of sauce. Why is that something I chose not to do instead of letting the little packets pile up in the fridge door?

According to one Reddit user, there's already some sauce-limiting literature that all employees need to get familiar with asap.

Chick-fil-A is working hard to resolve the supply issues and apologizes for any inconvenience the sauce limits cause.
