I am the proud mama of two rescued fur babies, Brooks and Urban, and both of my doggy soulmates were adopted from Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford.

I still remember the first time I laid eyes on them at Noah's Ark, and how amazing it felt to bring them home for good. Both Brooks and Urban were surrendered to Noah's Ark by their previous owners, but what keeps the animal sanctuary the busiest is taking of the hundreds of strays that come through their doors every year.

I don't need to tell you that animal care isn't cheap, I'm sure you already know that, but what I do need to tell you is this; the pandemic isn't just hitting us hard, it is hitting animal rescues and shelters like Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary hard as well.

Shelters depend highly on public donations, and in tough economic times, they are often forgotten about. Here's the thing though, lost animals in need never stops, and that is where you and I come in.

Today is Giving Tuesday, and Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is really hoping you will think of them today when you make your charitable donations...
