Either way, a lot of reviews of Whitecap remember this ski resort fondly saying "the skiing is just s fantastic as it was then" while adding "the place is a bit sleepier."

Others talked about the need for upgraded facilities while also mentioning how surprisingly good the food is at the bar.

The biggest takeaway I got from the reviews, there are new owners of the Whitecap Mountain Resort. LittleCarpenter on TripAdvisor said "The new owners are investing in major updates and improvements and it shows! If you haven't been here in a few years give it a try again because if you've been here before you know the varied terrain is the most fun in Wisconsin and Michigan."
