One of the Most Magical Holiday Venues in Illinois is Hosting a Lady Gaga Drag Queen Brunch
Hey Little Monsters, if you're coming to Chicago for the Lady Gaga concert next month, you might also want to go to the Gaga Drag Brunch over the weekend.
Let's take it back to March of 2020.
The first half was pretty solid. Sure we had all heard the word 'coronavirus,' but I bet you didn't have the virus yet and probably didn't know anyone who did either.
And, you probably had some plans.
Maybe plans for later in March, or maybe you just decided with your cousin, your sister-in-law and her sister to buy tickets to see Lady Gaga at Wrigley Field in Chicago that summer... just me?
Well, it wasn't just me. A ton of people bought Gaga tickets and then we know the world was shut down, concerts were canceled, etc, etc, some concerts were rescheduled, Lady Gaga was busy starring a movie (House of Gucci) that I never ended up seeing but we held on to those tickets, hoping... that we'd see her perform.
Earlier this year, she announced she was going on tour including a stop in Chicago on... A MONDAY!
That was annoying for a while, but we managed to figure it out.
So the concert is Monday, August 15, but maybe you'll be in town all weekend and want to have some Gaga fun, then you'll be excited to hear there's a Lady Gaga Drag Brunch on Saturday August 13 that you and your best Little Monster buddies can attend.
But wait until you hear where it is... it's at The Walnut Room in the middle of Macy's in downtown Chicago!
The Walnut Room! That's where the Christmas tree is every year! Where families get Sugar Plum fairy dusted and order way too expensive chicken pot pie entrees followed by Frango mint pie.
I'm totally going and I can't wait to see if the Drag Queens replace the spinning tree and there are still some sort of Sugar Plum fairies with glitter.
