I have been on the planet for a minute now, and this was totally new news to me.

I'm not much of a boater, I wish I was but when I hear stuff like this, I'm glad I'm not.

While perusing The Active TImes, I stumbled across a list of The 40 Most Mysterious Places in the Whole Entire World.

While scrolling through there was plenty of the usual suspects including Loch Ness in Scotland, Island of the Dolls in Mexico, and The Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.

All three mentioned above have plenty of stuff on the internet that backs up the mystery.

This one does too, I was just shocked to see that this was the first time hearing about the Michigan Triangle. Wait, what?

The Active Times:

Did you know that Lake Michigan has its very own Bermuda Triangle? Many people associate shipwrecks with the wild waves of the open ocean, but there is a history of sunken ships, plane crashes and disappearances of vessels and entire crews within an area in Lake Michigan created by drawing lines connecting Benton Harbor in Michigan, Manitowoc in Wisconsin and Ludington in Michigan. As the legends of these documented disasters grew, so did reports of UFOs and paranormal phenomena that could be behind them.

The most famous disappearance in the Michigan Triangle is the story of Steven Kubacki in 1978. According to Strange Outdoors, Kubacki came up missing after a cross-country skiing trip. Police believed that Kubacki "had fallen through the (Lake Michigan) ice to his death either by drowning or hypothermia."

Here's where it gets weird, Kubacki was found 15 months later in Massachusetts. 700 miles away from where he originally disappeared with no recollection of what happened that day in Lake Michigan.

So strange. If at all possible, please keep me away from the Michigan Triangle. Something is definitely up with that place.
