Oscar-Nominated ‘Minding The Gap’ Screening For Charity In April

A special screening of Minding The Gap is coming to Rockford in April.

The Oscar-nominated documentary will be shown at the Nordlof Center on Saturday, April 13.

Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to Boone County CASA, and Children's Safe Harbor.

Children's Safe Harbor is a Rockford Skatepark Initiative and per their website:

Children’s Safe Harbor provides a safe place for families to use when exchanging children for visitation and provides supervised visitation services. Parents may access services through court order, agency referral or by self-request.

The man behind Minding The Gap, Bing Liu, will also be in attendance for a Q & A session after the showing.
