You gotta hand it to Gusti Korotkov. Korotkov is accused of stealing over $1,000 in Cubs and trying to sell inside Wrigley Field. It sounds like a master plan, but where did it all go wrong?

First thing he did wrong was attempt to steal. Second thing he did wrong, he stole from The Cubs Store which is right across the street from Wrigley Field.

According to reports, Korotkov stole two jerseys, nine hats (NINE HATS?) and one jacket. He then took his Santa Claus sized bag into Wrigley Field and tried to sell his newly found wares to Cubs fan inside the stadium.

As luck would have it, ushers noticed Korotkov trying to sell the stuff and had him detained. After taking a look inside the bag, they noticed all of the stolen merchandise.

The Cubs Store also caught him on security camera stealing his fancy new Cub gear. Double whammy.

I still can't get over the 9 hats the guy stole. What a random number. One more thing, Korotkov was charged with retail theft and is currently under house arrest.
