Put Your Boots On, Forecast Says Big Snow System To Hit Rockford This Weekend

While we might not have much to look at snow-wise in Rockford at the moment, things are supposed to change this weekend.

It's been relatively light when it comes to the amount of snow we've received so far this winter.

It looks like Saturday, February 3 might change things for us though.

According to Illinois Storm Chasers, "accumulating snow is beginning to look a little more likely with this system for this upcoming weekend."

They believe a "widespread area of snowfall" could develop across the entire state of Illinois on Saturday with "several inches of snow possible."

How many inches snow possible? Who knows. Just get your shovels ready and dig out your boots because you might need them this weekend.
