I can't believe I'm on board with this trend, but the pandemic wrecked so much, why can't we celebrate several fun holidays at once. #NoRules2020

Pumpkins and candy canes, Santa Claus and Frankenstein, skeletons and snowflakes. This is 2020 and pandemic chawed we experience just about everything. Don't get me wrong, I wish this pandemic had never happened, but I am thankful for all the extra time I got with my newly blended family. My wife and I share four children, from age 4 to 18, and everyone of them thinks this is a ridiculous and/or fun idea. Can you come up with one reason not to try this?

First, I must thank ScaryMommy.com for sharing that Halloween Christmas trees are a thing. We always complain that stores move us from one holiday to the next too quickly, why not do it anyway. Everything we do has changed, so why not give this a whirl and see how it goes.

People who put up Christmas decorations early are happier, according to experts. The examples Scary Mommy shared are families who just seem to have added Halloween decorations to their Christmas game. Take a look, then I have a suggestion.

What about putting up a tree right now, make it all Halloween-like, then transition it to Christmas when the time is right. If you have a fake tree in the basement, bring it up. Just bringing that tree upstairs will probably give you some joy.

Merry Halloween. Be sure to share your Halloween Christmas tree pics with us.
