Robot Baseball Umpires Are Here, Check Out The Debut (Video)

So you do you yell at if the ump is a freakin' robot? From MLIVE the Atlantic League tried out this robot ump thing and apparently it went well.

So here's how it works. There is a real live human up behind the plate, with an earpiece in. The earpiece is connected to an IPhone that is connected to this "robot" monitoring the pitches. The real ump is told if it's a ball or strike, and it he relays the call.

The future is here, and it's going to change the game for the better...right?
