If you're a Federal employee, going without work doesn't mean going without working out.

While 800,000 Federal employees go without work (and paychecks) due to the longest government shutdown in American history, one fitness Rockford fitness studio is doing what they can to help out.

Orangetheory Fitness, 6575 East State Street, is offering free workouts and free heart rate monitors rentals now through Thursday, January 31.

Brad Ehrlich, Chief Operating Officer of Orangetheory says “The people most directly affected by the government shutdown, due to reduced pay or the complete absence of paychecks, should not have to worry about making ends meet when it comes to exercise, the top activity that helps anyone battle stress and maintain physical and mental health.”

Don't just sit through the government shutdown, sweat through it.
