Rockford Furniture Store Closing After Nearly 50 years
The company was started as a housewares manufacturer in 1932, then bought a bankrupt furniture factory in 1936. Now comes the million-dollar closing sale.
The Fischer family opened their Ethan Allen franchise in 1970, according to rrstar.com. After twenty years, Roger Fisher bought the store from his dad and has owned the store since. After a brief closing earlier this month, Ethan Allen opens today (7/20) at 10 a.m. to start their $2 million store closing sale. And Fisher's Ethan Allen will say open until all their inventory is gone. There's always been something very special about Ethan Allen furniture. Several visits are in my future.
