When it comes to making positive life changes, especially when it comes to our physical and mental well being, it's easy to make excuses for why we can't or don't want to do something. We're too busy, too tired or we're just too lazy and won't admit it.  But if it's anything I've learned during my training at Maximum Performance is that we're stronger than our excuses.

Whenever you want to make an excuse for why you want to skip that weight lifting session, that morning jog or any anything that will help you to move forward in life, I want you to think of 16-year-old Kate Foster.

Kate, a gymnast, lost her leg to cancer, but that didn't stop her from getting back into the gym to do what she loves most.  Her strength and determination has been recognized all over the globe; she's even been featured on The Today Show. Now, three years later, she's inspiring others on Good Morning America this morning.

Watch for her feature on WTVO from 7am-9am; if you're going to be at work, then make sure you set your DVR. This will be a great segment to share with your kids or anyone you know who could use inspiring.
