For this festive look, you have to ditch the curling iron.

I know, that sounds bananas.

It took me about 22 years to learn how to do my hair, and I'm still pretty helpless on a humid day, but thankfully I now know where to go when I need styling tips.

When Rachel from rd Artistry curled my hair with a straightener on Halloween, I knew I had to go back to learn how to do it myself.

It seemed so much quicker and easier than using a curling iron, plus the curl lasted much longer.

So Rachel taught me.

And I still need a lot of practice.
