Rockford is Home to Two of Illinois’ Best Heart-Shaped Pizzas

You won't have to make a haul on Valentine's Day to eat a heart-shaped pizza if you desire.

That's because Yelp highlighted the Top 10 Best Heart-Shaped Pizzas Near Chicago, and lo and behold, two of those places are in Rockford.

Two Of The Top Three Spots Are In Rockford

Both of these places are also in the top 3 when it comes to making their pizzas in the shape of a heart.

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, with a 4.1 score on Yelp, ranked no. 2 on the list, and Giordano's, with a 3.7 score, was no. 3.

Both create heart-shaped pizzas ready for you to chow down on this Valentine's Day.

A Heart-Shaped Pizza That Gives Back

Heart-Shaped Pizza Pro Tip: Make Sure It's Cut

Personally, I've only had one run-in with a heart-shaped pizza in my life, and it was when I ordered it from the now-long-gone Marco's Pizza.

It turns out that they don't cut the heart-shaped pizza at Marco's. I was dismayed because I was eating the pizza in my car. See the video.
