You probably loved Serena Williams' French Open look because it's eye-caching but did you know a former Rockfordian designed it?
In case you don't know Virgil Abloh is an insanely talented designer who works with Nike and Kanye and grew up here in Rockford.
He went to Spring Creek Elementary School and Boylan Catholic High School and now he casually hangs with Serena Williams.
Ok, maybe they aren't just hanging to hang but they're definitely buds.
And Virgil Abloh designed her French Open look, which was complete with layer after layer of fashion.
