Rockford Salvation Army Collecting ‘Koats 4 Kids’ at Cherryvale Mall

We're already feeling chilly in the Stateline and that means it's time for you to buy your kids a new coat and donate their old ones.

So often we all look around and see what we have and think it's not enough, but then we hear about something like The Salvation Army's Koats 4 Kids and realize most of us have plenty of things, and even have some things we can donate to others.

This weekend, The Salvation Army will be collecting coats at the Cherryvale Mall outside of the old JCPenny from 10am - 6pm.

They are looking to collect over 1,500 this season and only received 131 coats so far according to My Stateline.
