Rockford’s City Market Announces Big Change Due To The Heat
The heat has forced market organizers to change the location of this Friday's City Market.
With a near-100 degree forecast for Friday (7/19), the Rockford City Market will be heading inside. According to the Rockford Register Star, many of the outdoor vendors will be moving to the indoor market. The heat plus the humidity, can cause illness, so this move was about comfort and safety.
This Friday is the last market for many vendors, as they sign up for either the first or second half of the City Market's outdoor season. You may want to get downtown this Friday or you may miss out on stocking up on something you love, as there will be many new vendors starting July 26.
