Recreational marijuana use has been legal in Illinois for almost two weeks now, but the demand and lines at Rockford's Sunnyside Dispensary are still high and still long.
In fact, the demand is so high that Sunnyside's inventory has taken a major hit, causing some inconveniences for both recreational and medical marijuana users. Here is an update they posted on Sunday afternoon...
If you are planning to stop at Sunnyside in the next few days, there are few important things you need to know before you go.
First off, they are no longer offering their shuttle service for adult-use customers and you need to park in the Francesco's parking lot. (the dispensary's parking lot is for medical-use customers only).
Secondly, the wait for adult-use will likely be at least an hour, and lastly, Sunnyside has changed their hours of operation a bit starting today...
