We already knew Paul Rudd was a fun guy. But this just takes it to a whole new level.

Rudd hails from just outside of Kansas City, so when the Royals defied the odds to win the American League pennant and advance to the World Series on Wednesday night, he was happy to be interviewed by a local news outlet.

Yup, he was excited, alright -- so much so that he decided to open up his mom's house and let other fans party (go to the 1:15 mark), an offer this guy should've seriously considered. You don't see Red Sox superfan Ben Affleck do this, do you?

It just goes to prove the bond between Royals fans and the team may be the strongest in all of sports right now. Of course, his mom may not be too thrilled when she gets home and sees the mess.
