The description should read "Serves 10-14 or one really hungry dude." You haven't quite lived until you've had the monstrosity known as the Member's Mark Colossal Cinnamon Roll from Sam's Club.
A couple of years ago, I was notified of its delicious existence and immediately knew I needed it my life.
Some time had passed since I had last eaten a Colossal Cinnamon Roll and it just so happens, I was wandering Sam's Club on Saturday and decided to find one because Father's Day.
Meaning, I was planning on eating the entire thing in one sitting with zero regrets.
After walking around Sam's Club, I couldn't find the Colossal Cinnamon Roll anywhere.
I decided to walk up to the bakery counter to see where they might be hiding when I uncovered the horrifying truth. The Colossal Cinnamon Rolls weren't hard to find, they were nowhere to be found because they had been dropped from all Sam's Club stores. The employee did tell me cheerfully that the Colossal Cinnamon Roll had been replaced with new deluxe cinnamon rolls.
Uh, I didn't want deluxe cinnamon rolls. I also don't want artisan or handcrafted cinnamon rolls or whatever. I wanted something big, bad, and unhealthy. The Colossal Cinnamon Roll checked all those boxes.
Father's Day went without a Colossal Cinnamon Roll, and it appears future holidays may have the same fate unless Sam's Club brings them back.
So whattaya say Sam's Club? Resurrect the Colossal Cinnamon Roll for me, please.
