Seven Reasons Why The ‘Moe’s Tavern’ Pop-Up Bar In Chicago Is Better Than Every Other Pop-Up Bar
Pop-up bars and restaurants are all the rage but it seems that the one that just opened is the one you don't want to miss.
If you haven't heard, Moe's Tavern from The Simpsons just opened up in Chicago's Replay Lincoln Park.
And if you were anything like us, you wanted to see what the place was like before making the trek to Chicago.
Based on some of these pictures on the Replay Lincoln Park Facebook page, we probably need to go, like, now.
Here are seven reasons why:
Moe's Tavern at Replay Lincoln Park serves a coffee and donut that looks eerily similar to the donut's Homer eats in the show. The red stuff in the cup next to the coffee and the donut? A Red Squishee.
The outside of Moe's Tavern features the owner peering through the window giving us a look like he really doesn't want us to come inside.
They serve Flaming Moes.
Ordering a Flaming Moe wouldn't be the same without the chance to wash it down with some Makers Moe or to follow it all up with a pickled egg.
Moe's Tavern at Replay Lincoln Park even has created a Mount Lushmore honoring some of Moe's top customers.
The sign outside of Replay Lincoln Park captures that Springfield vibe perfectly.
No trip to Moe's would be complete without Barney passed out on the floor.
Moe's Tavern at Replay Lincoln Park is open Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m., 3 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday.
