Parents, it's time to brush up on your acronyms. If you have teens who text, you need to know these sexting phrases.

I wish I had this list a year ago; I just learned a few days ago that my son was having sex. He's 17 so I wasn't too surprised but denial is a pretty cool place to hang out when it comes to your kids and sex. All the signs were there but I just didn't know what they meant.

By now, we all know what LOL and OMG means; they practically teach the lingo in preschool. But when you're the parent of a teenager who's constantly texting their friends, it's a good idea to dig a little deeper.

Here are some of the newest acronyms your kids are using to conceal their activities:

PIR = Parent in room
PAL = Parents are Listening
AITR = Adult in the room
PAW = Parents are Watching
PA or PA911 = Parent Alert
CD9 or Code 9 = Parent around
99 = Parent gone
303 = Mom
GNOC= Getting Naked On Camera

How do kids come up with this stuff? See the full list, there's a total of 99 of them, here.
