We've all been there: A blizzard takes over, our cars are covered in snow, and we don't have a snow brush handy.  What do you use instead?

Shamelessly, just the other day I used a shoe horn to scrape off my windshield because my two-in-one ice scraper and snow brush broke before the blizzard touched down.  I mean, it got the job done so I guess I can't complain!

I needed to know I wasn't alone in this world, so I took it to Facebook and asked what other people have used in the past to clean off their car.  Honestly, it made me feel a lot better knowing others struggled just as much as I did the past few days.

Jessica said a flame thrower... that'll probably do the job and then some.

Okay, this is my comment.  I'll call myself out lol.

Again, it worked and I got to my destination in one piece!

With all the junk mail we get (or bills we just don't want to open), put it to use and wipe off your windshield with it!

The obvious answer every time: a small child.

Swipe them a few times across the windshield and you're good to go!

You could be like Shawna and make her husband do it lol.

I wouldn't recommend this one unless you REALLY have no other options... a tree branch if you can even find one buried in the snow.

Alright, maybe this is exaggerated a little bit, but you do what you gotta do!

Just don't ruin a perfectly good iPad because they're a lotta money.

This method might take forever, but eventually you'll get to your destination even if you're three hours late.

Age yourself without telling me you're aging yourself... an empty CD case!

This is probably the most effective way other than a snow brush haha. An umbrella!
