Some Major Construction Is Coming To Downtown Rockford

Starting this weekend you'll want to pay attention to what route you take to get around downtown.

Beginning Friday, July 17, Elm St between S Church and S Main will be closed for utility work with a crane. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, August 2, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place. Please use caution and slow down when driving in and around the work zones.

Stay safe out there and try to avoid all work zones if possible.
