We're on the brink of the spookiest season of the year, so it's time to get prepared. Sure you can work on your Halloween costume or set out creepy decorations, but you also need to make sure you're ready to welcome ghosts into your life because chances are pretty high that you'll see one this year in Illinois.

Once upon a time I wouldn't believe this story, but I happened to see a ghost in my apartment earlier this year... so I happen to be a believer now.

How Many Ghost Sightings Are in Illinois Each Year?

According to their statistics, there have been 4,206 UFO sightings in Illinois this year, and 2,584 ghost sightings. And those are just the reported ones. THAT'S A LOT.

While we are in 13th place when it comes to the odds of seeing a UFO and ghost combined... we're in 5th place when it comes to just spotting a ghost. So keep your eyes peeled!
