Steve Helps Pick Winner of Rockford Guitar Center ‘Drum Off’ [VIDEO]

On Tuesday night (9/30) I was asked to be one of three judges for the Rockford Guitar Center store's local 'Drum Off' competition. This year's winner was Ryan Tomkus. Watch his 3 grooving' minutes from the contest.

Six drummers competed and were judged in several areas: originality, skills, technique, and the two most important to me, groove and stage presence. I scored Ryan highest in every category. Next up for Ryan is the regional competition in Naperville, IL October 21st. Good luck buddy!
