Life is about to become so much easier for cute kids with protruding body parts.

He wasn't a child at the time, obviously, but when I first set eyes on my husband, the first thing I noticed about him was his ears. They're huge; he could seriously fly away with those things, but I thought they were so cute. Naturally, he hates them, but there isn't anything he can really do about it unless he covers them with a stocking cap.

If you have a child whose ears stick out, you know how much harder life can be because of their appearance. My husband still feels insecure from the teasing he endured as a kid, because of his ears. Well, life is about to get easier for your little Dumbo. A new study shows that kids whose ears stick out are cuter, more intelligent and likeable.

If that still doesn't put them at ease or put a smile on their face, just tell them what my mother-in-law tells my husband, "You're an angel and those are your wings. Flap, Flap."
