Father's Day is three days away, and if you're anything like me, picking out a card for dad is 1,000 times harder than finding him the perfect gift.

Do you want to be sentimental? Funny? Sarcastic? GAH; It's so hard to decide because your dad, and your children's dad, are all those things. You just want to make sure that you're sending him the right message so he knows you care.

Would this card do the trick?

According to Fox 32 Chicago, the only thing this card is doing is offending people, so much so that Target issued an apology and removed the card from store shelves.

Target says, "We appreciate the feedback and apologize. It's never our intent to offend any of our guests with the products we sell."

Are you offended?

If I told you what it said inside, it might change your mind. The inside of the card says,

"You're a wonderful husband and father, and I'm so grateful to have you as a partner, my friend, and my baby daddy. Happy Father's Day."

Was putting this couple on the front in poor taste? Absolutely; but I'm not so sure Target was trying to be racist.

Those who weren't offended by the sentiment brought up some good points,

"Not sure if this one is racist. There is a sector of the black community this will appeal to because that's what they call their children's father. The company that I work for makes a strong effort to make sure our creative marketing team is very diverse in order to reach all $$$. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a black marketing person that came up with the idea to put this on a greeting card."

"I  get it. Black couple on a card & BABY DADDY on it. However. .u know how THAT CARD is PERFECT for. When I get a card & believe me I like buying them over texting I pick a card CLOSE TO MY EXPRESSIONS I'm trying to relay & a picture to match would be nice. I want to like card inside & out. If I DON'T LIKE IT I PASS IT UP for another person to get. EVERY CARD DON'T FIT EVERYONE. Plus TARGET is no HALLMARK LOL"
