TBT: 1992 Prince Signs $100 Million Contract, Becomes a Symbol [VIDEO]

This week in 1992, Prince became the highest paid musician after signing a $100 million dollar deal ($10 million per album) with Warner Bros. The first release gave us 'My Name is Prince", "Sexy MF" and what top 10 hit?

The song was "7", a song whose meaning has been debated often.  Almost as much as how the heck we were supposed to pronounce his name now that 'my name is Prince' wasn't true. Big thanks to Perez Hilton for having the video for this song, since Prince videos are so hard to find on the web
