Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Heather From Byron Middle School

A new 97ZOK Teacher of the Week was announced this morning (4/12) during The Steve Shannon Show.

Mrs. Heather from Byron Middle School took home the honors this week.

Heather was nominated by Jasmine Duncan.

This teacher is great at being more than just a teacher. She has taught me so many things that I never would have gotten before now. I know my sentence patterns better now than ever before. My grammar I think has improved greatly. As a writing teacher, she is the greatest, and there is no one better for the job, but she is more than just a teacher.

Mrs. Heather is a great friend too. She runs the Student Council, and I've known her since I was in 6th grade, and I was always so excited to have her as a teacher. Anybody with Mrs. Heather as a teacher and a friend is very lucky. She is the best teacher I've ever had. She is fun and likes to joke around in the classroom, but she still teaches us all of the things we need to know about writing.

If any teacher deserves to be teacher of the week it is Mrs. Heather, there is no better candidate.
