If you haven't heard, the public has taken it upon themselves to invite everyone to Area 51 to 'pull back the curtain'.

The Facebook event has over 1 million people who have RSVP'd. It's going down on September 20 and here's what it's being described as -

We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.

So it started as a semi-serious event, however the internet has officially ruined that. It's now become the hottest meme topic and a nation-wide joke. However, people don't always get the whole joke thing, and will sometimes take stuff a little too seriously. So to those people, The United States Air Force has responded. Air Force spokeswoman Laura McAndrews said -

Area 51 is an open training range for the US Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces,” McAndrews said. “The US Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.

So basically those "Trespassers will be shot" signs aren't lying. Obviously a million people aren't actually going to this event, but even so, you know SOME people will.

So all I have to say to those people is, good luck and please film your efforts.
