This Funny Tweet Sums Up The Chicago Cubs Season Perfectly

The Chicago Cubs are in the middle of a historic run this season which could wind up ending the teams 108 year World Series drought.

The team has already clinched the division and home field throughout the playoffs (except the World Series) so it's needless to say the team is kind of on cruise control at the moment.

Don't take that the wrong way, even with everything sewn up the Cubs continue to win.

However, this tweet from CSN's Patrick Mooney describes what the Cubs are going through with only a week left in the baseball season.

You read that right. If that's true, the Joe Maddon-Kyle Hendricks mound visit might be one of my favorite moments of the year.

Hendricks, a Dartmouth graduate in 2013, obviously knew the answer. Fun fact about Dartmouth College, they have an unofficial mascot named Keggy the Keg.
