This is How Much You Should Spend on a Bottle of Wine for a Party [VIDEO]

Your friend invites you to a party and you're in charge of bringing the wine, but you have no idea how much to spend.

It's happened to all of us. You're invited over to a friend's place for date night or girls night out and you ask, "do you want me to bring anything?" They say, "how about the wine?" Seems like an easy task until you get to the liquor store and you're staring at aisle after aisle of wine and have no idea where to even begin. Red or White? Sweet or Dry? Box or bottle? So many choices.

That all depends on your taste but your taste in wine also determines how much you'll spend. So, how much do you spend when you've been invited to a friends party? Just use this simple equation:

Just estimate the annual income of the person throwing the party, then divide it by 10,000.  So if they make $50,000 a year, a $5 bottle is fine.  Or if it's a couple with a combined income of $120,000, look for a $12 bottle.

If you're lucky, the people you're drinking with probably won't know the difference anyway.
