"Man spends lottery win spreading manure in his ex-boss's yard." I did a little digging into this story and made a couple interesting discoveries.

Here is the headline that caught my attention:

A man from Illinois was arrested for getting $224,000 worth of manure dumped on his former employer’s property, only two weeks after he won $125 million at the lottery and quit his job.

I see that story and my curiosity was immediately piqued. Then I see the website it came from. My gut told me it was fake news. After scrolling through the entire story I realized my gut was 100% accurate. What I found, at the very bottom was proof positive that the entire story was fake.

World News Daily Report assumes all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any person, living, dead or undead, is purely a miracle.

Here's some truth though, this just became two new entries on my Bucket List.

  1. Win the lottery
  2. Spread manure on some of my ex-boses' yards
