Tom Brady’s Touchdown Buddy Scotty Miller Played Illinois HS Football
Right now when you hear Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you probably think, "Tom Brady".
I don't blame you! But did you that Tom Brady's new touchdown buddy Scotty Miller is from Illinois? Even crazier, I went to high school with him.
Scotty Miller grew up in Barrington and went to Barrington High School where he obviously played football. I was on dance team in high school, and we'd perform at half time. So it's wild now to think back on the fact that I would watch Scotty play, and then perform during halftime at the games he played back in school.
Scotty was a beast in high school, then he went to play football at Bowling Green. And now, he's on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and spoiler alert - he's killing it.
Like, really killing it. He caught an INSANE pass from Tom Brady during Sunday's game, check it out -
I mean, come on, those are some undeniable skills. Every time I watch Scotty play, I always notice how fast he is. He's a speed demon on the field. And apparently I'm not the only one who noticed. EPSN reported just how fast Scotty Miller was going during Sunday's game.
WHAT? I think if I ran as fast as I could I'd end up going 3 MPH.
Scotty is only 23 years old, which means he grew up watching Tom Brady play. Whenever I watch Scotty play I always step back and think how insane that's got to be.
So now when you watch the Super Bowl, you have some Illinois roots to cheer on!
