U-Haul is extending something typically set aside for communities affected by natural disasters to college students and their families around the United States.

A few months ago while at a seminar I heard the phrase, "if you have the ability to help then you have an obligation to help, and U-Haul is doing exactly that. The moving and self-storage giant is using its expertise and network to help college students that are forced to leave campus and go home. U-Haul's President, John Taylor, implemented a course of action; 30 days of free self-storage at U-Haul owned-and-operated facilities to help college students during the unforeseen schedule changes at their universities.

We don’t know how every student is affected. But we know they are affected. More and more universities are giving instructions to leave campus and go home. Students and their parents are in need of moving and storage solutions. We have the expertise and network to help, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

This act of kindness, the free 30-days of storage, is for new customers with college IDs and has limited-time offer based availability. You can find the store nearest to you here.
