Wendy’s In Rockford Just Added A Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger To The Menu

It's been a while but Wendy's has brought back the pretzel bun.

According to Thrillist, this is the first time in five years since Wendy's has done so, and it sounds like it might be an amazing potentially limited-time treat.

Inside the glorious pretzel bun, Wendy's says the burger is a half-pound of beef "topped with Muenster cheese, three strips of Applewood smoked bacon, smoky honey mustard, warm beer cheese sauce, crispy fried onions, and pickles." Sounds like a plan.

You can also swap out the burger for chicken if you choose.

What's a good burger without fries? Wendy's has that covered too. They added Bacon Pub Fries, covered in Applewood smoked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and even more warm beer cheese sauce.

The new addition to Wendy's is listed under the "Made To Crave" portion of the menu so it's a bit more pricey than other offerings. One of the monster sandwiches will run you $6.09 if you order from the Wendy's on Riverside in Rockford.
