We’re Trying to Save the Gander Outdoors 80-Foot Flag

Rockford's Gander Outdoors store announced that it will be closing soon. We'd love to find a way to keep the giant flag here when they leave.

If you've driven on Perryville Road in Rockford, any time in the last year or so, you've seen the 80-foot by 40-foot American flag flying outside the Gander Outdoors store. It's so enormous, you can see it from Interstate 90.

According to what we've heard, Gander Outdoors' CEO and host of CNBCs The Profit, Marcus Lemonis, is moving the stores in the direction of RV sales and the Rockford store just doesn't have the space.

Hey Marcus, ROCKFORD HAS THE SPACE FOR THAT AWESOME FLAG. And we're not alone in hoping we can strike a deal to keep the flag here.

We are currently trying to get in touch with Marcus Lemonis, but at present, he has not replied to our emails.
