Neil Olson of Wausau, Wisconsin has had the same Christmas tree in his living room since the 70's and it still has its needles. Why the tree is still there will break your heart.

A tiny spruce tree sits in the corner of Neil's living room and somehow the tree has retained its needles. Neil, 86, believes it's something supernatural that has kept those needles attached. The tree, covered with tinsel and very dusty ornaments may never be taken down, because Neil's biggest wish never came true and it's unlikely it ever will.

In 1974, two of Neil's six sons were shipped off to serve in the Vietnam war. Neil said that the tree would stand until all six of his sons were together in the same room for Christmas.

Neil is still waiting for that day. Find out why.

Neil said, "I bet you if my sixth boy comes home, the needles will drop right off,"
